This is the premiere issue of Afterglare, which features the very first three chapters from Part One of the Destiny series. Known as Part One: Venus Butterfly since 2005, Issue 001 - Heightened Sensation, of the re-titled story, Connection introduces Lana Harland at age seventeen.

Lana Harland didn't want to be a typical, spoiled, Beverly Hills brat. She didn't want to be exactly like her mom and sister. It looked like that was exactly where she was going, until she met Kieran.
